Hi there. My name is Maeghan, and I am the creative force behind The Dizzy Dragonfly. I adore fiber in all its forms and really love what I do. I feel truly blessed to have found something that sparks my creativity, and makes me feel alive.
The majority of the items available in my shop are hand dyed with care by me. I will occasionally use fiber from other indie dyers, but will make note of it in the individual listing. All of my items are dyed with Greener Shades Dyes, which are lightfast, washfast, and earth friendly!
My home is smoke free, however, I do share it with three wonderful cats. While they are not allowed to play with the fiber (much to their dismay), a stray cat hair may make its way to you.
Earth Friendly
I am a strong believer in doing what I can to be kinder and more gentle to our planet. It is for that reason, that I chose to use Greener Shades dyes when I made the decision to begin dyeing fiber. Here are some of the other things that I do to minimize my footprint:
~Package items in reusable, biodegradable packaging.
~Use business cards that are printed with soy inks on recycled paper.
~Find ways to reduce my electricity usage in my home / studio.
